The AWEX EMI closed on 1541c down 1c at auction sales in Australia this week. When you combine the week’s sale was advertised as a 40,000 bale offering and the misalignment of the sale calendar and the pre-Christmas shipping deadlines, the 1c drop in the EMI was a healthy result. Clearances rates were a solid 92.9% this week maintaining its performances and a better Christmas present better than socks and undies.
